We are seeking a highly skilled C# .NET WPF Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in modern software application development, as well as a solid background in mathematics.
Job Responsibilities
Application and Algorithm Development: Design, develop, and maintain algorithms, applications and libraries for 3D graphical software using C# and C++. Integrate and implement features using external SDKs and APIs (e.g., 3D engines, CAD kernels, mesh kernels, scanner SDKs)
· Collaboration: Work closely with the other team members, including product owner and quality assurance engineer, on both development and support tasks. Collaborate with cross-functional geographically dispersed teams to define, design, and ship new features as well as to perform support activities.
· Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices in software development.
· Performance Optimization: Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, backward and forward compatibility.
· Testing and Debugging: Conduct unit tests and debug applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
· Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed code and systems.
· Troubleshooting: Resolve technical issues and bugs.
· Work environment: Hybrid work in the Williamsburg office location, as needed.
Qualifications
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or comparable experience.
· Experience: Proven 5 years + experience with C# or C++.
· WPF Expertise: Proven experience with WPF development is a plus, including MVVM pattern and creating intuitive user interfaces.
· Frontend Skills: Experience with UI/UX design tools is a plus.
· Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Version Control: Experience with version control systems such as Git.
· Team Player: Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
· Geometry & Math: Knowledge and background in mathematics and linear algebra.
· Behavior: Strong communication and teamwork skills, with fluence in English.
· Hardware Experience: Experience with machine interfacing and sensors integration is a plus, specific experience on the product and the hardware will be acquired with the team’s support in lab.
