Summary
The Global Materials Leader – Rad Systems is responsible for leading the global supply-side materials organization for the Radiography Systems business. Reporting directly to the Global Operations Leader for Radiography Systems, this role owns the end-to-end supply planning, inventory management, production materials strategy, and material fulfillment processes required to meet customer demand and operational objectives.
The role serves as the primary link between commercial demand signals and operational execution. While demand planning and forecasting are led by the Commercial organization, the Global Materials Leader is accountable for translating demand requirements into effective supply plans, ensuring material availability, inventory optimization, and execution excellence across the global value stream.
Job Responsibilities
- Leading the global materials and supply planning organization for the Radiography Systems business, ensuring alignment between commercial demand requirements and operational execution across the global value stream
- Developing and executing end-to-end supply strategies that ensure material availability, production continuity, and customer fulfillment while optimizing inventory levels and working capital performance
- Converting commercial demand forecasts into executable supply, production, and inventory plans, balancing demand, capacity, material availability, and business priorities
- Owning and driving the Supply Review process within the S&OP framework, ensuring operational readiness and effective decision making to support business objectives and customer commitments
- Driving production material planning, inventory deployment, fulfillment execution, and planning parameter governance across the global network to support operational performance
- Partnering closely with Sourcing and supplier partners to improve supplier performance, strengthen continuity of supply, mitigate risk, and enhance overall supply chain resilience
- Leading responses to material shortages, allocation decisions, demand-supply imbalances, and critical supply chain escalations while ensuring timely resolution and minimal business disruption
- Monitoring and improving key supply chain performance metrics, driving continuous improvement across planning and materials processes, and building organizational capability through coaching, talent development, and leadership of a global team
Qualifications
- Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related discipline
- Have significant experience in Materials Management, Supply Planning, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related leadership role within a complex industrial environment
- Have a proven track record of leading global and cross-functional teams, delivering operational results, and driving execution across multiple functions and stakeholders
- Demonstrate strong business, financial, and analytical acumen with the ability to translate data into operational decisions and business outcomes
- Have experience developing and executing supply planning, inventory management, and inventory optimization strategies that support customer demand and operational objectives
- Demonstrate the ability to influence senior stakeholders, lead through ambiguity, and drive performance across a global matrix organization
- Possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong partnerships across Commercial, Operations, Sourcing, and Supply Chain functions, and be fluent in English
- Have experience with ERP and advanced planning systems; APICS CPIM/CSCP certification, Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or transformation and change leadership experience would be an advantage
