Summary
In this senior leadership role, you will lead our UK sales organisation for Hexagon’s Production Software portfolio, driving business growth, market expansion, and customer success across the region. The role focuses on the UK market but also international connections and collaboration will be key in achieving goals.
You will own and execute the regional sales strategy for our software solutions, leading diverse international teams and delivering ambitious business targets in a dynamic and fast-evolving environment. This role requires a hands-on leader who can proactively manage performance, forecasting, and operational efficiency, while working closely with marketing teams on campaigns, events, and digital sales initiatives. You will lead by example, engage with key industry stakeholders including OEMs, machine suppliers, and tooling manufacturers, helping customers transform their manufacturing operations through innovative software solutions.
This role can be based anywhere in the UK and requires regular travel.
Job Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement a customer-focused business strategy that encourages collaboration across the wider organisation and supports continuous improvement and transformation.
- Identify market trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and stay ahead of competitors.

- Sales, Business Development and Customer Relations:
- Drive sales growth across the UK through effective forecasting, strong leadership of the sales organisation, and solution-led sales approaches that increase adoption of our Production Software solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, strategic partners, and industry leaders.
- Partner closely with other teams for managing strategic regional accounts.
- Develop business partnerships in the UK market to support the sales team with qualitative leads and opportunities to collaborate and demonstrate our capabilities.
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships, while collaborating with sales and marketing teams to drive customer acquisition, retention, and market expansion.
- Optimise the regional coverage model together with the Partner Management team, ensuring a strong and effective network of value-added resellers.
- Team Leadership and Talent Management:
- Lead and develop a high-performing sales organisation focused on solution selling.
- Provide strong leadership and mentorship to a diverse team, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance culture across different people, cultures, and situations.
- Recruit, develop, support and retain top talent by setting clear performance goals, providing regular feedback, and supporting continuous professional growth.
- Operational Excellence:
- Drive operational excellence through accurate forecasting, effective sales processes, and continuous performance improvements.
- Support regional marketing and communication activities, including customer and partner press releases, trade shows, and industry events.
- Drive efficiency, cost optimization, and scalability for operational performance gains.
- Work in close collaboration internally and ensure efficient processes, communication lines with technical teams and system integration teams.
- Ensure that your work ethic and behaviour complies with the Hexagon values.
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading and inspiring sales teams, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role. You are a people-focused leader who motivates teams, builds trust, and combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution to create a high-performance culture.
- Strong business and operational management capabilities, with experience driving growth, forecasting, and organisational effectiveness.
- Background in the CAD/CAM industry is highly desirable. We are looking for someone experienced in value-based sales of technology solutions such as PLM, ERP, engineering software, manufacturing technologies, or related industrial software solutions.
- Knowledge and experience with optimizing production processes in the metals industry is highly desirable.
- Ability to engage with strategic customers and manage complex sales environments involving software solutions and digital transformation initiatives.
- Comfortable working in an international organisation with cross-functional collaboration across regions. Willingness to walk the extra mile for the overall success of the business.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus but not required.
- Flexible and willing to travel frequently (mostly within the own market), with a working pattern that combines remote work and regular customer-facing activities.
