Summary
Application Engineer - Esprit (f/m/d) is focused on supporting our Esprit CAM software and working closely with resellers across the EMEA region. You will act as the key escalation point for complex technical issues, helping build up reseller capabilities and strengthening the connection between support and development teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide second-level technical support to Hexagon resellers across EMEA for Esprit software and other CAM solutions.
- Act as a technical escalation point for complex issues that cannot be resolved by local or first-line support teams.
- Work closely with the development team to investigate bugs, support product improvement, and ensure effective issue resolution.
- Deliver training, mentoring, and enablement to upskill resellers and ensure they can resolve standard customer issues independently.
- Participate in building a stronger internal support structure in Europe, integrating deeply with Hexagon’s growing digital manufacturing solutions team.
Qualifications
- Prior experience with Esprit CAM, Edgecam, VISI, or RADAN software, or a competing product
- Strong knowledge of complex machine tools, machining processes, and production environments—especially in high-precision OEM contexts.
- Proven ability to analyze and troubleshoot escalated technical issues, ideally in a global or multi-regional support setup.
- Solid communication skills with the ability to support, upskill, and mentor reseller teams.
- A proactive, flexible approach to problem solving and working across diverse technologies and teams.
