Short description: As a Senior Software Developer (w/m/d), you will play a key role in the technical implementation of interfaces between end devices, UI frontends, and cloud services. Your focus will be on scalable, secure, and high-performance integration of user interaction with our products—both on the device and in the cloud.
 

Job Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for the user interfaces of our product portfolio including UI frontends on the devices and cloud services for data processing and visualization
  • Technical leadership and further development of our cloud solutions
  • Architecture, development, and scaling of cloud services for the entire device portfolio
  • Design and implementation of interfaces between UI frontend and backend
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize the user experience
  • Continuous improvement of cloud and UI integration standards
  • Evaluation and integration of new technologies in cloud services
  • Ensuring best practices in CI/CD, testing, and deployment
     

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in Software Engineering or similar 
  • 3 – 5 years of experience as a Senior Developer (preferably with a track record of technical leadership)
  • Strong knowledge of scalable cloud architectures and distributed systems
  • Experience in cloud development with technologies such as AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, or similar platforms
  • Experience with security aspects such as x.509 certificates, TPM 2.0, and authentication mechanisms
  • Experience with modern API technologies such as gRPC, REST, OpenAPI, or GraphQL
  • Knowledge of UI-backend integration (plus)
  • Fluent in English and German (B2)

Because we must mention it: the minimum gross salary according to our collective agreement for employees in the metal industry is € 3,341.50 gross per month based on 38.5 hours per week.
