Summary
A SIC has dual roles, one is customer facing wherein the SIC will help customers in defining long term program delivery roadmap, and if necessary act as an architect to design the overall implementation approach of Reliance suite at the enterprise level. Additionally, the Senior IC is also responsible to manage customer relationships on an ongoing basis and act as the first level of escalation for active projects.
The other role is internal to ETQ wherein the Senior Implementation Consultant is responsible to mentor junior consultants on implementation best practices and product knowledge. Among other responsibilities, a SIC can work in tandem with sales and pre-sales teams to help scope out requirements for new customer opportunities.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform scoping (onsite/remote), assist in drafting responses for Request for Proposals(RFP) and lead large scale and/or complex implementation of ETQ Reliance.
- Be an active member of the product steering committee and work with customer stakeholders to draft product roadmaps and service delivery plans.
- Where needed, act as the Technical Program Manager and/or Solution Architect to address complex engagement challenges to steer a successful implementation approach.
- Serve the role of ETQ implementation expert and lead engagements with global teams with multiple active projects by working in tandem with customer stakeholders, core project teams, and ETQ consulting team.
- Manage stakeholder conflicts and recommend simpler solutions for complex problems, essentially play a key role in identifying and mitigating situations which may result in over -architecting a solution for complex business requirements.
- Build large scale solutions with the team and perform complex SQL, and programming in JYTHON to supplement the out of box offering of processes. The Senior IC should also have expertise in systems integrations and the underlying technology APIs for webservices (SOAP and REST).
- Maintain relationship with customers, even after the project assignments are done. Always be receptive on how well we can engage customers in planning their roll outs.
Organizational Initiatives
- Work with ETQ management in implementing organizational improvement vis-a vis refining training programs, identifying implementation gaps, improving product offerings/service catalogue.
- Mentor junior consultants and work with them to help them excel in their role at ETQ. Provide feedback to the service manager on areas of improvement in the onboarding process and overall mentorship approach.
- Work on annual presentation topics for ETQ user conference with the professional service manager and director.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Management of Information Systems, Information technology, Computer Science required with minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
- In lieu of Master Degree, a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or equivalent, and 5 years of Progressive Technical Work Experience required.
- Knowledge of the EtQ Reliance platform and its application for various industry domains is highly preferred (Reliance 10X-2017)
- Willingness to travel (domestic and international).
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
- High technical acumen with intermediate to Advance level SQL, HTML, JSP, Python, JAVA, JYTHON, XML and SOAP, RESTful API skills.
- Understanding of service delivery models strongly desired. ITIL a plus.
- Requirements elicitation and management, strong customer negotiation skills required.
- Prior experience in leading large scale turn key projects for a software product company is preferred.
- Awareness about software designing concepts and proficiency in UML, DFDs, activity diagrams, and swim lane diagrams required
- Ability to identify opportunities to cross sell or up sell services to the customers.
- Knowledge of the QMS and EHS domain is desired.
