Summary
Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Demand Generation Manager, Aftermarket Programs to lead the global aftermarket demand generation strategy across our installed customer base.
Aftermarket services represent one of the most strategically important growth engines within our business area, and this highly visible role is responsible for building and executing integrated, omnichannel marketing programs that drive customer engagement and revenue throughout the customer lifecycle—from onboarding and adoption through expansion, renewal, recovery, and long-term customer success.
The Senior Demand Generation Manager will own the end-to-end strategy for global aftermarket demand generation, developing scalable programs that accelerate service adoption, product upgrades, modernization initiatives, training and certification enrollment, and customer retention. This individual will partner closely with Product Marketing, Marketing Operations, Sales, Inside Sales, and external agency partners to deliver measurable business results.
The ideal candidate is a commercially minded demand generation leader with deep expertise in lifecycle marketing, marketing automation, and data-driven campaign optimization. Experience supporting industrial technology, manufacturing, hardware, or aftermarket service organizations is highly desirable.
What You'll Do
Aftermarket Lifecycle Strategy
- Own the global demand generation strategy across the aftermarket customer lifecycle, including onboarding, adoption, education, upsell, renewal, retention, and customer recovery.
- Develop and execute integrated, omnichannel campaigns utilizing Pardot, Qualified, Inside Sales, eStore, digital marketing, and organic social channels.
- Lead pipeline generation initiatives supporting paid service recovery programs by re-engaging lapsed service customers.
- Drive demand generation for MyCare service offerings, product upsell initiatives, training and certification programs, modernization campaigns, and new aftermarket product launches.
- Develop modernization and upgrade campaigns that increase revenue opportunities within the installed customer base.
- Establish scalable lifecycle marketing frameworks that improve customer engagement and maximize long-term customer value.
Agency Management and Cross-Functional Leadership
- Manage external marketing agencies responsible for executing and optimizing global aftermarket lifecycle campaigns.
- Partner closely with Marketing Operations and the AI Content Systems Manager to support Pardot automation, Qualified campaign execution, and AI-assisted content workflows.
- Collaborate with Inside Sales to define lead qualification criteria, service level agreements, and handoff processes that improve pipeline conversion.
- Serve as the primary demand generation partner for Aftermarket Product Marketing and the Aftermarket Product Management teams.
- Foster strong cross-functional relationships across Sales, Service, Product Management, Marketing Operations, and regional marketing organizations.
Performance Measurement and Optimization
- Own performance reporting across all aftermarket demand generation programs, including customer engagement, marketing pipeline contribution, service recovery, training enrollment, and campaign effectiveness.
- Partner with Marketing Operations to develop executive dashboards and reporting frameworks that provide actionable business insights.
- Continuously optimize targeting, segmentation, messaging, and campaign performance through data-driven analysis and experimentation.
- Present program performance, recommendations, and business impact to senior leadership.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in demand generation, lifecycle marketing, customer retention, or revenue marketing.
- Demonstrated success developing and executing integrated, multi-channel marketing strategies across global markets.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM, Pardot or comparable marketing automation platforms, and campaign orchestration technologies.
- Experience managing external agencies and driving measurable performance outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI-enabled tools and workflows into marketing operations.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives in a fast-paced global environment.
Preferred
- Experience with Qualified conversational marketing platform.
- Background in industrial technology, manufacturing, precision measurement, hardware, or aftermarket services marketing.
- Experience with 6sense, Seismic, or comparable account-based marketing and sales enablement platforms.
- Experience supporting global marketing organizations across the Americas and EMEA.
Work Environment
This position is fully remote within the United States. Candidates must reside within driving distance of either Novi, Michigan or Quonset Point, Rhode Island to support periodic onsite collaboration, planning sessions, leadership meetings, and business activities as required.
Occasional domestic and international travel may be required.
