Short Description

As a Salesforce Developer, you will work with an international team based in Barcelona to develop and enhance Salesforce solutions supporting Waygate Technologies as part of its integration into Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and customising Salesforce solutions that support customer, sales, and service processes, while contributing to the successful integration of Waygate systems into Hexagon’s target architecture.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and customise Salesforce solutions, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, and integrations, to support Waygate’s customer, sales, and service processes.
• Support Salesforce build and integration activities as part of the Waygate acquisition, including data migration, system configuration, workflow development, and interface implementation.
• Contribute to Day 1 readiness and support the transition from existing TSA arrangements to Hexagon’s target technology landscape.
• Maintain and enhance Salesforce platforms by resolving issues, delivering improvements, and ensuring seamless integration with ERP systems, data platforms, and other enterprise applications.
• Collect business requirements from different stakeholders and translate them into scalable technical solutions and deliverables.
• Design, develop, and maintain Apex classes, Lightning Web Components, Flows, APIs, and custom Salesforce functionality.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and international development teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Continuously track and test new Salesforce features and contribute to platform innovation and continuous improvement.
• Follow Salesforce development standards, security requirements, and software development best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, or a comparable field.
• Salesforce certification at Developer or Consultant level.
• 5+ years of professional experience developing Salesforce solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, REST APIs, and Salesforce integrations.
• Experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud; experience with Salesforce CPQ is highly desirable.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP systems and other enterprise applications.
• Good understanding of data modelling, integration concepts, object-oriented programming, and software development best practices.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
• Project experience in sales and after-sales processes is highly desirable.
• Experience working in Agile development environments is considered an advantage.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
