About the Role
The Laser Tracker Sales Engineer is responsible for driving sales of laser tracker solutions across North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia. This role blends technical expertise with customer-facing sales responsibilities to identify opportunities, demonstrate solutions, and deliver measurable value to customers.

What You’ll Do
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to achieve revenue targets
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities
- Manage and grow relationships with existing customers
- Deliver technical product demonstrations and presentations
- Partner with application engineers to design tailored customer solutions
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM updates
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitive technologies
- Travel within assigned territory to support customer engagement and events
Qualifications
Qualifications
Must Have:
- Technical proficiency with laser trackers, metrology equipment, or similar measurement technologies
- Strong ability to translate technical capabilities into customer value
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently in a territory-based role
- Willingness to travel regionally
Nice to Have:
- Prior sales or customer-facing experience
- Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or industrial environments
- Familiarity with metrology software and alignment applications
- Sales Force or other CRM system experience.

Work Environment
This role operates in a hybrid/remote environment with frequent travel to customer sites. Work includes both office-based activities and on-site visits to manufacturing facilities. Employees may spend extended periods working on a computer, presenting to customers, and moving within industrial environments. Frequent lifting of equipment may be required. Travel exceeding 50% is expected.
