Radan Trainer (m/w/d)

Summary

 

We are growing and are looking for a Radan Trainer (m/w/d) based in the UK, with flexibility for remote work with occasional travel to Hexagon sites in Telford, Nottingham, and Swindon.

In this role, you will manage and deliver high-quality training programs to our customers, enabling them to maximize the value of their Radan software investment.

Job Responsibilities

 

As the Radan Trainer, you will be responsible for managing and delivering the training function for Hexagon’s Radan CAD/CAM software and its associated products. You will work closely with sales, support, and development teams to ensure customers receive high-quality, effective training tailored to their specific sheet metal manufacturing needs. Main responsibilities include:

  • Organizing, scheduling, and delivering training courses primarily to customers who have purchased Radan software, both remotely and occasionally on-site at Hexagon locations
  • Developing and maintaining training materials and documentation to support course delivery and customer understanding
  • Assessing trainee skill levels and adapting training content to suit a wide range of audiences, from shop floor operators to company executives
  • Providing ongoing support to customers through training-related queries and assisting with product usage
  • Collaborating with internal teams including Sales, Support, and R&D to ensure training aligns with product updates and customer requirements
  • Managing the training function’s administrative tasks such as certification issuance and training records maintenance
  • Support the creation of self-help resources and online training content.
  • Engage actively with customer e-support forums.
  • When not Training or creating content the Radan trainer is expected to help with Customer support cases and service tasks.

Qualifications

 

  • Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification, preferably with a background in sheet metal engineering or manufacturing
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in engineering roles involving sheet metal design, manufacturing, or CAD/CAM systems
  • Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software, ideally with experience or familiarity with Radan or similar sheet metal software
  • Proven ability to deliver technical training and presentations to diverse audiences, from shop floor operators to senior management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt training style to different learner needs
  • Organized and methodical approach to managing training schedules, documentation, and course delivery
  • Comfortable delivering training both remotely and face-to-face, with a confident and engaging presentation style
  • Experience working in or with industries involving sheet metal fabrication, such as automotive, aerospace, or general manufacturing
  • Ability to travel occasionally to Hexagon sites in the UK (Telford, Nottingham, Swindon) for in-person training sessions
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to support and assist customers beyond training sessions
  • Valid UK work permit and driver's license required
