Hexagon’s Design and Engineering division, part of Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, develops advanced software solutions that empower manufacturers to accelerate innovation and bring high-quality products to market—faster and more affordably. Our technologies help improve everyday experiences by enabling smarter, more efficient design and production.
At the forefront of production innovation, Hexagon’s software redefines what’s possible. By reimagining products and processes through cutting-edge design, materials science, manufacturing techniques, and process optimization, we make it feasible to create what was once unimaginable. Before a product leaves the virtual world, it is rigorously optimized for user experience, operational efficiency, durability, manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and production productivity.
Our comprehensive software portfolio includes simulation tools for materials, product performance, and manufacturing processes. With capabilities in finite element analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and multi-body dynamics (MBD)—alongside solutions for cost estimation, design optimization, and generative design—we enable designers, engineers, and analysts to collaborate seamlessly across the product lifecycle. These tools are trusted globally to design, validate, and refine the products people rely on every day.
This transforms the design and engineering landscape, freeing professionals to rethink and reinvent products beyond traditional constraints. Our simulation software allows users to rapidly explore multiple design scenarios, identifying the optimal solution without the need for costly and time-consuming physical prototypes.
