Job Description
MES IT Business & Systems Analyst (f/m/d)

Summary

We are looking for a proactive and hands-on MES IT Business & Systems Analyst to join our Manufacturing Intelligence team.

You will act as a bridge between business and IT, working on internal manufacturing systems used across global operations. The role is part of a strategic transformation initiative integrating our internally developed MES solution with SAP and other enterprise systems.

This is not a purely analytical role — you will work with complex topics, incomplete inputs, and real business challenges, and turn them into structured, usable solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Act as the main interface between business stakeholders and development teams
  • Understand business needs and transform complex, often unclear requirements into structured and implementable solutions
  • Contribute to the design and evolution of the internal MES/MOM solution, balancing business needs, scalability, and technical sustainability
  • Take ownership of selected modules within a modular system landscape
  • Ensure and validate end-to-end data flows across systems (MES, SAP, Quality, Planning, BI)
  • Define and drive data ownership, data quality rules, and interface logic in an integrated environment
  • Support change management with strong focus on user adoption (training, feedback, process alignment)
  • Collaborate closely with developers and international stakeholders across global sites

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Consultant, or similar role
  • Strong understanding of business processes, ideally in manufacturing or production environments
  • Ability to structure complex problems and turn them into practical solutions
  • Experience with ERP/MES/MOM systems (e.g. SAP or similar)
  • Understanding of system integrations, data flows, and master vs. transactional data
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including ability to challenge requirements and drive alignment
  • Experience working on projects or system implementations
  • High level of ownership, proactivity, and focus on delivering results
  • Fluent English (daily communication in an international environment, C1 level or similar)

We Offer

  • Work on a strategic global transformation project (SAP + MES)
  • High level of ownership and direct impact on internal systems
  • International collaboration across Europe, US, and Asia
  • Flexible home office setup
  • A role combining business, technology, and problem-solving
  • Long-term growth within a global technology organization
