Summary

We are looking for an experienced Integration Architect to help shape how applications, platforms and data connect across a complex global technology landscape.

This is a hands-on architecture role for someone who enjoys solving complex integration challenges, designing scalable solutions and turning technical complexity into clear, reusable architecture patterns.

Job Responsibilities

• Define and evolve integration architecture principles, standards, patterns and roadmaps.
• Design integrations between SaaS, cloud, on-premises, legacy, COTS and internally developed applications.
• Define and evaluate different integration approaches, including API-led, event-driven, messaging and real-time integration.
• Design reusable integration patterns and architecture solutions that can be applied across multiple projects.
• Work closely with Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, Application Architects, delivery teams and business stakeholders.
• Evaluate integration technologies and help select the right platforms and tools for specific business and technical requirements.
• Create architecture models, diagrams and solution options using structured architecture tools.
• Ensure integration solutions meet security, authentication, authorization, encryption, data management and compliance requirements.
• Contribute to API management, master data, data synchronization, event streaming and enterprise messaging initiatives.
• Review integration designs and participate in architecture governance and design forums.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and modernize the integration landscape and reduce technical debt.
• Guide delivery teams and external partners in applying integration standards and best practices.
• Assess integration risks, dependencies, performance and operational considerations.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who combines strong technical depth with an enterprise-level architectural mindset.

• 5+ years of experience in integration architecture, solution architecture or a related architecture role.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience integrating multiple types of applications and technologies, including SaaS, COTS, cloud-native, legacy and on-premises environments.
• Hands-on experience with an iPaaS / integration platform, such as SAP Integration Suite, Boomi, Azure Integration Services, MuleSoft, Oracle Integration, TIBCO, Workato or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns and technologies, including APIs, event-driven architecture, messaging, streaming, batch and file-based integration.
• Experience defining or applying integration principles, standards, patterns and governance.
• Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, GraphQL, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML and integration security.
• Experience working in a large and complex enterprise environment, managing multiple integrations and stakeholders across different projects.
• Ability to create clear architecture models and diagrams using structured architecture tools such as Ardoq, Lucidchart or similar.
• Strong communication, analytical and documentation skills.
