About the Role

The Service Coordinator provides frontline support for Hexagon’s service operations, ensuring that customer requests, field service scheduling, and administrative processes are managed efficiently and with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. This role is central to coordinating communication between customers, field service engineers, and internal teams.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate scheduling of field service engineers for customer site visits, installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring timely updates and professional communication regarding service requests.

  • Process service orders, track job progress, and update records in the service management system.

  • Collaborate with regional managers and service engineers to prioritize requests and allocate resources effectively.

  • Maintain accurate documentation, including service reports, parts usage, and invoicing details.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service quality, efficiency, and customer experience.

  • Assist with reporting and metrics tracking for service operations.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Administration, or related field; or equivalent work experience.

  • Previous experience in service coordination, customer support, or scheduling preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with ERP or service management software is a plus.

  • Ability to work effectively with customers, engineers, and cross-functional teams.

Work Environment

  • On-site office environment with frequent use of computers, phones, and standard office equipment.

  • Regular communication with customers and field service staff, requiring strong interpersonal skills.

  • Occasionally may require visiting customer facilities or service areas.

  • Normal office noise levels; factory visits may involve moderate noise.

  • Some travel (up to 10%) may be required to support service operations
