D&E Customer Support Intern

Job Summary

Ready to turn classroom theory into real-world impact? Join us as an D&E Customer Support Intern and work on technologies shaping the future of engineering. You’ll gain hands-on experience with CAE simulation tools, collaborate with expert mentors, and contribute to projects that matter. This is a hybrid role based in Novi, Michigan.

What You'll Do

  • Learn and apply CAE software for real-world projects
  • Collaborate with mentors and subject matter experts
  • Test new software features (alpha/beta)
  • Assist in deploying AI-powered customer support solutions
  • Create demos, tutorials, and reports to showcase your work, focusing on topics such as Automotive Aerodynamics, Vibration, and Acoustics

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Exposure to one or more of the following areas: Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Multibody Dynamics *MBD), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), or Acoustics.
  • Familiarity with CAE software such as Nastran, Abaqus, Ansys, Fluent, Star CCM+, or similar tools is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to clearly communicate technical concepts in writing and verbally.
  • Excellent teamwork and organizational skills. ​​
