Job Description
Channel Operations Support Specialist

Summary

Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence is seeking an experienced Channel Operations Support Specialist to strengthen the operational performance of our North American Production Software reseller network. Working across the United States, Canada and Mexico, you will turn channel data into actionable insights, improve partner processes and help the business manage its sales pipeline, software orders and recurring revenue.

You will collaborate with channel leadership and colleagues in Sales Operations, Customer Success, Finance, Marketing and Order Management. This is an individual-contributor opportunity for someone who combines advanced Salesforce reporting expertise with sound judgement, ownership and a strong partner-service mindset.

Job Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day channel operational processes, including partner onboarding, programme records, training and certification tracking, communications and reseller data accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain Salesforce reports, dashboards and performance measures; monitor opportunity progression, lead response, pipeline health and forecast inputs.
  • Analyse bookings, revenue, renewals, lead conversion, new customer acquisition and reseller productivity; present trends and recommendations to channel leadership.
  • Coordinate software maintenance and subscription renewal reporting, track expirations, flag at-risk renewals and work with resellers and internal teams to support timely execution.
  • Oversee the quality of reseller account, contact, opportunity and channel-attribution records; investigate discrepancies and improve data governance.
  • Prepare regular business reports and contribute analysis to quarterly business reviews, planning and channel performance discussions.
  • Identify recurring operational issues, document standard procedures and independently drive practical process and system improvements.
  • Partner across Sales Operations, Finance, Customer Success, Marketing, Technical Support, Licensing and Order Management to resolve reseller issues and improve partner experience.

Qualifications

Required

  • Typically 3–5 years of relevant experience in B2B software or technology channel operations, partner sales operations or a closely related sales operations role.

  • Experience working with resellers, distributors, value-added resellers or other indirect sales partners.

  • Advanced Salesforce capability, including building complex reports and dashboards, managing opportunity and account data, analysing pipelines and improving CRM data quality.

  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to interpret performance data, explain findings clearly and recommend appropriate actions.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, work independently, communicate effectively and collaborate across functions.

  • Working proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word and PowerPoint.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting software maintenance, subscription renewals or other recurring-revenue models.

  • Salesforce Administrator certification.

  • Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.

  • Experience supporting multi-country channel operations in North America.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid position based in Rhode Island, combining office-based collaboration with remote work in accordance with the team’s agreed schedule. The role involves extensive computer-based work, virtual meetings and coordination with colleagues and reseller partners across North America. Reasonable accommodations may be provided to enable qualified individuals to perform essential job functions.
