We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our global IT team in Monterrey. This is a hybrid role requiring deep technical expertise in ServiceNow development, particularly in IT Service Management (ITSM) modules, and the ability to architect scalable, enterprise-grade solutions in a complex global environment.

 

About the Role

As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will design, architect, and implement technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform to support enterprise IT Service Management requirements across Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence. You will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to translate business needs into robust, maintainable platform solutions.

 

This role requires strong hands-on development expertise, architectural thinking, and the ability to communicate effectively in English with global stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Design, develop, and implement enterprise solutions on the ServiceNow platform aligned with ITSM best practices.

  • Lead development and configuration across core modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Asset Management, Knowledge Management, CMDB, and GRC.

  • Apply smart customization principles to ensure scalable, upgrade-safe platform enhancements.

  • Develop custom applications, workflows, and configurations using Flow Designer and Integration Hub, including creation of custom flow actions.

  • Architect and manage integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP, and other web services.

  • Provide business intelligence support through Performance Analytics and the Reporting engine.

  • Collaborate with business analysts and project managers to define solution options, assess risks, and evaluate impacts to business processes and technical architecture.

  • Communicate technical designs and issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Produce comprehensive technical documentation, including solution design documents and developer notes.

  • Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and training to junior developers and end users when required.

  • Ensure adherence to ServiceNow and software development best practices and governance standards.

Qualifications

Must-Have Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on development experience on the ServiceNow platform.

  • Strong experience delivering and supporting ITSM modules in large enterprise environments.

  • Proven expertise in application development, platform configuration, and customizations within ServiceNow.

  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript and web technologies including HTML, CSS (SASS), AngularJS, Bootstrap, AJAX, and SQL.

  • Experience designing and managing integrations using REST, SOAP, and other web services.

  • Demonstrated ability to define scalable technical solutions and communicate effectively in English in a global environment.

  • Experience working collaboratively within structured project management methodologies.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

  • ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, and CIS-ITSM.

  • ITIL v3 Foundation certification.

  • Experience working in fast-paced, multinational technology environments.
