Overview

The Sr Sales Support Specialist plays a critical role in supporting Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence by ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant processing of hardware, software, and service orders within a complex manufacturing environment.

This position acts as a central coordination point between Sales, Finance, Planning, Logistics, to enable smooth order execution, ensuring data accuracy, adherence to commercial and operational policies, and high quality customer experience while supporting the delivery of precision measurement technologies, software solutions, and integrated manufacturing systems.

Key Responsabilities

• • Contract & Pricing Verification: Review purchase orders against quotes and contracts, verifying pricing, product availability, and license/maintenance terms to ensure adherence to commercial and operational policies.
  • Order Processing: Accurately enter and validate high volumes of complex Hardware and Software orders. Validate pricing, product availability and contract terms before order submission.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the warehouse for hardware shipments and the provisioning team for software license deliveries
  • Dispute Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve pricing discrepancies, billing errors, or missing order configurations to prevent fulfillment delays.
  • Customer Support: Communicate order statuses, delivery timelines, and back-order updates to internal sales teams and Shipping Department.
  • Reporting & Data Integrity: Maintain clean records in the CRM/ERP databases and periodic review of backlogs, fulfillment and Invoicing reports.

Qualifications

•  3-5 years of order management or order entry specifically within hardware/software industry.
•  Knowledge of CRM (Salesforce) and ERP (SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms), plus Microsoft Office Suite Excel

• Ability to interpret complex hardware configurations and software licensing models. Validate pricing, product availability and contract terms before order submission.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with internal stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, or a related field
