Summary
As a Field Service Technician (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the installation, calibration, troubleshooting and repairs of our tactile Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) for our customers. You will ensure that deliveries run as efficiently as possible and that any issues arising are dealt with promptly.
This role can be based anywhere in the BeNeLux, and the work requires frequent travelling within the BeNeLux and occasionally EMEA North.
Job Responsibilities
- Carry out installation, service, calibration, troubleshooting and repair of measuring equipment
- Carry out on-site trainings for machine operators.
- Connect hardware and install software.
- Solve simple metrological application issues.
- Provide technical support to sales personnel in fairs, customer meetings, etc.
- Register and document the work performed.
- Report to the Service Coordinator and Service Manager.
- Comply with company quality policies.
Qualifications
- High school education.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position that requires travelling to customers.
- Fluent in spoken and written English (mandatory), with additional skills in Dutch or French preferred.
- Availability to travel up to 80% of the time and spend several nights per week away from home.
- Driving license.
- Experience from IT tools relevant to the position, or from technical support roles working with CMMs or CNCs would be a great advantage.
