Marketing Specialist – Japan (Potential AIMEA Regional Support)

Position Summary
Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence is seeking a Marketing Specialist to lead and execute marketing initiatives for the Production Software portfolio in Japan. Japan will be the primary market and service area for this position, with responsibility for developing and executing localized marketing programs that support business growth, customer engagement, and brand awareness.
As regional marketing priorities evolve, the role may expand to provide support for selected marketing activities across the AIMEA (Asia, India, Middle East, and Africa) region. The scope, level of regional responsibility, and timing of any expanded support will be defined based on business needs and organizational priorities.
This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution and requires a collaborative marketer who can drive demand generation, customer engagement, and sales enablement initiatives while working closely with local, regional, and global stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated marketing plans aligned with business objectives, pipeline growth targets, and market priorities for Japan.
- Partner closely with sales, product management, and global marketing teams to ensure alignment of campaigns, messaging, and go-to-market activities.
- Plan, manage, and execute marketing programs including events, webinars, customer seminars, digital campaigns, PR activities, and content initiatives focused primarily on the Japanese market.
- Create and localize marketing content and messaging tailored to Japanese customers while maintaining global brand consistency.
- Support lead generation and demand creation activities through digital and field marketing programs.
- Collaborate with digital marketing specialists to optimize campaign performance, website traffic, engagement, and conversion rates.
- Manage campaign timelines, budgets, agencies, vendors, and external partners to ensure successful execution.
- Develop sales enablement materials including presentations, customer success stories, competitive positioning, and product messaging.
- Analyze marketing performance and provide actionable insights to improve campaign effectiveness and ROI.
- Serve as the primary marketing contact for Production Software activities in Japan.
- Support selected cross-functional and regional marketing initiatives across AIMEA as defined by business requirements and regional priorities.

Qualifications
- Experience marketing software, SaaS, manufacturing technology, engineering technology, CAD/CAM, simulation, or industrial solutions.
- Familiarity with manufacturing, industrial automation, smart factory, or digital transformation markets.
- Experience with content creation, public relations, and social media marketing.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, or similar design tools.
- Experience supporting multinational or regional marketing programs.
