Strategic Account Executive

Summary

Enterprise Account Executive – Connected Worker & Q-DAS

Division: Production Software
Location: Remote – United States
Company: Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence

Position Summary

Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence is seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Executive – Connected Worker & Q-DAS to drive new business and strategic account growth across the United States.

This role will focus on selling Hexagon’s Connected Worker and Q-DAS solutions to enterprise manufacturing organizations seeking to improve operational performance, workforce productivity, quality, process visibility, and data-driven decision-making across their operations.

The Enterprise Account Executive will own the full sales cycle—from identifying and developing opportunities through discovery, solution alignment, business-case development, negotiation, and close. The successful candidate will be comfortable engaging both operational and executive stakeholders and navigating complex enterprise sales involving multiple plants, business units, technical teams, and decision-makers.

This is a highly strategic, customer-facing role for someone who understands how to connect manufacturing challenges to measurable business outcomes and build long-term relationships with large industrial customers.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic territory and account plan focused on acquiring new enterprise customers and expanding Hexagon’s presence within existing strategic accounts.

  • Drive revenue growth for Hexagon’s Connected Worker and Q-DAS portfolio across targeted manufacturing industries.

  • Own the complete enterprise sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, discovery, solution positioning, demonstrations, business-case development, proposal creation, negotiation, and contract close.

  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities capable of supporting short- and long-term revenue targets.

  • Identify manufacturing organizations where digital transformation, quality management, workforce enablement, operational excellence, and process improvement initiatives create strong opportunities for Hexagon solutions.

  • Engage senior stakeholders across Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, Engineering, Continuous Improvement, IT, Digital Transformation, and executive leadership.

  • Conduct consultative discovery to understand customer challenges, operational priorities, existing technology environments, and desired business outcomes.

  • Translate Hexagon’s capabilities into compelling business value around areas such as workforce productivity, standardized work, quality improvement, process visibility, operational efficiency, reduced scrap and rework, and continuous improvement.

  • Develop relationships across multiple levels of complex enterprise organizations and build effective account maps identifying champions, influencers, technical stakeholders, economic buyers, and executive sponsors.

  • Build compelling ROI and business cases that connect Hexagon solutions to measurable customer outcomes.

  • Identify opportunities to expand initial deployments across additional plants, facilities, business units, and geographies.

  • Partner closely with Solution Consultants, Product Management, Marketing, Customer Success, Professional Services, and other Hexagon commercial teams throughout the sales process.

  • Coordinate demonstrations, workshops, proof-of-concept activities, and executive presentations that clearly communicate the value of Hexagon solutions.

  • Maintain accurate opportunity, pipeline, activity, and forecast information within Salesforce or other designated CRM systems.

  • Provide reliable forecasts while proactively identifying deal risks, competitive threats, and actions required to move opportunities forward.

  • Stay current on manufacturing trends, digital transformation initiatives, quality management practices, competitive solutions, and emerging customer requirements.

  • Represent Hexagon at industry events, customer meetings, conferences, and other relevant market activities.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably selling enterprise software, SaaS, manufacturing technology, industrial software, quality solutions, or digital transformation solutions.

  • Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.

  • Proven history of achieving or exceeding revenue and quota targets.

  • Experience developing new enterprise accounts through strategic prospecting and account-based selling.

  • Ability to sell business outcomes rather than relying solely on product features and functionality.

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing environments and the operational challenges faced by large industrial organizations.

  • Experience engaging senior executives as well as stakeholders within Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, IT, and Digital Transformation.

  • Ability to build ROI-driven business cases and communicate financial and operational value to executive decision-makers.

  • Strong discovery, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.

  • Experience navigating complex buying committees and enterprise procurement processes.

  • Strong pipeline management and forecasting discipline.

  • Experience with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms.

  • Ability to operate independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively across a global, matrixed organization.

  • Willingness to travel throughout the United States for customer meetings, industry events, and internal meetings as required.
