Role Summary
The North America Sales Support Manager drives commercial growth for Hexagon’s Automated Quality Solutions portfolio. This role owns the full sales cycle for advanced automation solutions designed to improve manufacturing performance, inspection efficiency, and operational reliability.
The position partners closely with regional sales, bid team, legal, finance, engineering, and service teams to quote and close structured opportunity, value-based solution positioning, and coordinated customer engagement.
Job Responsibilities
Revenue & Pipeline Leadership
- Own regional bookings targets for automated inspection solutions.
- Develop and execute account and territory plans across prioritized industrial segments.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through prospecting, partner collaboration, and internal lead channels.
- Maintain disciplined forecasting and CRM governance.
Consultative & Value-Based Selling
- Lead structured discovery conversations to identify operational challenges and improvement opportunities.
- Position automation solutions aligned to customer productivity, quality, and performance objectives.
- Communicate solution value in terms of business outcomes, scalability, and long-term operational impact.
Customer Engagement & Validation
- Coordinate product demonstrations and evaluation activities (remote and onsite).
- Collaborate with technical teams to validate feasibility and confirm alignment with customer requirements.
Proposal & Commercial Execution
- Develop structured commercial proposals aligning configuration, services, and delivery milestones.
- Ensure internal alignment on scope, risk, and commercial parameters.
- Support negotiation and closing activities in collaboration with management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the central coordination point between sales, applications engineering, project management, and services.
- Ensure smooth transition from commercial close to implementation.
- Support early-stage customer satisfaction and reference development.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales within industrial automation, capital equipment, manufacturing technology, or related fields.
- Proven track record in consultative, solution-oriented sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of metrology automation and manufacturing processes.
- Strong executive-level communication and business acumen.
- Willingness to travel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with industrial automation or inspection technologies.
- Familiarity with collaborative selling alongside engineering teams.
