Summary

As an Inside Sales Engineer you will be responsible for support our Stationary Metrology team in Slovenia and inside sales activities. This role plays a critical part in coordinating service-related commercial activities, preparing quotations, and ensuring seamless communication between customers, service engineers, and application teams. The position combines technical understanding with strong administrative and commercial skills to support customers across Slovenia and neighboring countries.

The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining our position as the number one metrology company while supporting long-term customer relationships and business growth.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations for maintenance, service, and calibration work for the service team.
• Create quotations for spare parts and accessories using ERP systems (e.g., Vasco).
• Develop proposals for service contracts and manage renewal cycles, including software licenses
• Prepare quotations for application services such as part programming and technical support in cooperation with the Application team.
• Coordinate service planning activities in close collaboration with the Service Manager.
• Create and maintain service calendars, align schedules with customers, and support negotiations related to service activities.
• Prepare and manage AFM reports and review field engineer time sheets to ensure data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales or inside sales role, preferably in a technical or industrial environment.
• Technical background or education (engineering or related field preferred).
• Strong understanding of sales processes, project/process management, and renewal cycles.
• Experience working with ERP systems and handling large datasets with high attention to accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and maintain a continuous improvement mindset.
• Fluent in Slovenian and English; knowledge of Croatian or Serbian is an advantage.
