Inside Sales Coordinator

Remote - US 

 

The Inside Sales Coordinator provides sales operations and order-processing support to the Inside Sales and Sales teams within Division Production Software. The primary focus of this role is processing purchase orders, creating orders and opportunities in Salesforce, supporting Salesforce CPQ activities, and helping resolve technical or process issues that could prevent orders from moving forward.

 

The Inside Sales Coordinator serves as a go-to resource for moving orders through the appropriate workflow and works closely with sales colleagues and internal stakeholders to ensure transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. This is a sales support and order-processing role rather than a direct selling position.

Job Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Process customer purchase orders and related documentation accurately and efficiently.

  • Create orders in Salesforce and ensure required information is complete and accurate.

  • Create and maintain sales opportunities in Salesforce in support of the Inside Sales and Sales teams.

  • Use Salesforce CPQ to support quoting and order-processing activities.

  • Review purchase orders, quotes, and deal information to identify missing, inconsistent, or unclear details that could delay order processing.

  • Coordinate with Inside Sales and Sales colleagues to resolve order-related questions and move transactions through the appropriate workflow.

  • Help troubleshoot technical, system, or process difficulties affecting order progression.

  • Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, and transaction information in Salesforce.

  • Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders regarding order status, issues, required information, and next steps.

  • Track open items and follow through on outstanding issues to help prevent delays.

  • Identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve order-processing and sales-support workflows.

  • Work collaboratively with the Inside Sales and Sales teams while independently managing assigned transactions and follow-up.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of hands-on Salesforce experience.

  • Strong Salesforce expertise, including experience creating orders and opportunities.

  • Salesforce CPQ experience.

  • Experience in sales, sales operations, sales support, order management, or a related commercial function.

  • Working knowledge of purchase-order, quote, and deal terminology.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to transaction accuracy.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions, priorities, and follow-up activities.

  • Ability to troubleshoot process or system issues and determine the actions needed to move an order forward.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with sales teams.

  • Strong ownership and follow-through.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting software sales or software transactions.

  • Experience with Salesloft.

  • Experience with Clari.

  • Experience supporting software licensing, subscriptions, maintenance, or related commercial models.

  • Experience in sales operations, commercial operations, order management, or sales administration.

 

Work Environment

This is a fully remote U.S.-based position, Monday through Friday. The role is primarily computer-based and involves regular use of Salesforce and related sales systems, transaction processing, documentation review, and communication with sales teams and internal stakeholders. Success requires strong attention to detail, timely follow-through, effective problem solving, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
