We're looking for an Inside Sales Account Manager to become a trusted advisor to our existing customers while driving recurring revenue growth through software maintenance renewals, account expansion, and customer engagement.
The Inside Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing an assigned portfolio of existing Volume Graphics customers throughout the software maintenance renewal lifecycle.
This role is highly customer-facing and combines account management, inside sales, and customer success.
The successful candidate will proactively engage customers through outbound phone calls and virtual meetings, prepare renewal quotations, negotiate commercial renewals, identify expansion opportunities, and partner closely with the Field Sales team to maximize customer value.
This position manages approximately $6M in annual renewal revenue and plays a critical role in customer retention while generating expansion opportunities for the broader sales organization.
Job Responsibilities
Customer Renewal Management
- Own a portfolio of existing software customers throughout the renewal lifecycle.
- Generate software maintenance renewal quotations.
- Proactively contact customers beginning 90 days prior to renewal expiration.
- Lead commercial renewal discussions and close renewal opportunities.
- Execute multiple customer follow-ups to maximize renewal success.
- Achieve assigned renewal revenue and customer retention targets.
Account Growth
- Identify opportunities for:
- Additional software licenses
- Product upgrades
- Training services
- Software maintenance expansion
- Qualify expansion opportunities and collaborate with Field Sales for opportunity progression.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with customers.
- Understand customer business objectives and software utilization.
- Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Sales Operations
- Create accurate quotations.
- Maintain Salesforce opportunities, forecasts, and customer records.
- Track pipeline health and renewal status.
- Process orders and ensure timely execution.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in:
- Inside Sales
- Account Management
- Sales Development (SDR)
- Business Development
- Customer Success
- Experience generating customer quotations.
- Experience managing existing customer accounts.
- Experience conducting proactive outbound phone sales activities.
- Experience using Salesforce CRM.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple customer opportunities simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling software or SaaS solutions.
- Experience with software maintenance renewals or subscription sales.
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial software, engineering software, or technology.
- Experience working with channel partners.
- CRM reporting and forecasting experience.
