Short description: As our Warehouse Operator (w/m/d) (Entry-Level) in Eskilstuna, you will support core inventory processes, coordinate incoming and outgoing goods, and ensure smooth logistical operations. This hands-on role offers practical learning on the job, contributing directly to inventory control, transportation booking, and goods handling. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and be part of a supportive environment where your growth and contributions matter from day one.


 

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage continuous inventory processes, including item assessments, volume tracking, and supporting inventory valuation activities.
  • Support purchasing and technical departments in assessing inventory requirements and planning accordingly.
  • Define and monitor reorder points, evaluate stock movement (FIFU), and determine criteria for item closure.
  • Handle goods receipt processes for both domestic and international shipments, including arrival registration in MPS and distribution to the appropriate department, warehouse, or customer order.
  • Organize and book all required goods transportation, ensuring timely and efficient logistics.
  • Operate forklifts for internal goods handling and warehouse operations.
  • Process and post transport-related invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to compliance with quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety standards, ensuring alignment with company policies and goals.
  • Take on additional duties as assigned, with flexibility and a proactive mindset.

 

Decision-Making Authority

  • Make decisions within the scope of the company’s certification and operational guidelines.
  • In accordance with occupational safety legislation, report irregularities to management and, if necessary, halt work to ensure safety.
  • Possess full authority to stop any process or delivery in case of suspected errors or quality issues.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in relevant IT tools and systems
  • Full professional proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken (minimum level B1)

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar or equivalent role
  • Familiarity with working in business systems (e.g., ERP or inventory management platforms)
  • Valid forklift license
