Services Manager Nordics, Stationary Metrology Division

Summary

Are you a hands-on and service-minded professional ready to take the next step in your career? Join us as our Services Manager and play a key role in supporting the daily operations of our Field Service organization across the Nordic market.

We are looking for an early-career leader for a first-line position, someone ready to take their next step into a coordinating and people-oriented role while staying close to the technical work.

In this role, you’ll work closely with Field Service Technicians, Technical HW Support, and Service Coordinators to help ensure smooth service delivery and a positive customer experience.

You’ll be part of a collaborative Nordic and EMEA service community, where you can grow your leadership skills while contributing to a well-established service organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support and coordinate the daily work of the Service team delivering installations, maintenance, calibration, repairs, service contracts, and spare parts
  • Act as a first-line manager for the team, providing guidance, feedback, and day-to-day support
  • Assist with planning and coordination of personnel scheduling and service requests
  • Follow up on service activities, basic KPIs, and operational performance
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, routines, and ways of working
  • Collaborate with Nordic colleagues and EMEA Service Managers to ensure clear communication and consistent service delivery
  • Support inventory and facility-related activities together with relevant stakeholders
  • Prepare and contribute to operational reporting to management

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree (BSc or equivalent practical experience)
  • Approximately 1–3 years of experience in a service or technical environment supporting industrial customers
  • Initial leadership experience, such as coordinating work, acting as a team lead, supervisor, or taking on informal leadership responsibilities
  • Experience with metrology and/or machine tool equipment is a plus, but not required
  • Comfortable using MS Office; experience with ERP or service management systems is an advantage
  • Valid B driving license
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
