Summary
The Senior IT Support Engineer is a key on-site role responsible for delivering day-to-day IT support, maintaining local infrastructure, and ensuring smooth IT operations in two office locations in Sweden. The position requires a hands-on, service-oriented professional with strong technical skills, the ability to work independently, and a proactive mindset.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver on-site and remote IT support to offices across Sweden
- Support Windows 11 devices and troubleshoot hardware (mainly Dell)
- Handle new joiner/leaver IT setup, asset management, and documentation
- Resolve network and routing issues, including switch configuration
- Maintain AV systems and support meetings and presentations
- Manage user accounts and systems: AD, DNS, DHCP, O365, VMware
- Coordinate local IT projects and collaborate with regional teams
- Travel to other offices as needed (approx. 1–2 times per month)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of IT support experience in a corporate/multi-site environment
- Strong knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID
- Solid troubleshooting skills across hardware, networks, and AV setups
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, Hyper-V, and VMware
- Familiar with ServiceNow or other incident/ticketing systems
- Fluent in English and Swedish
- Proactive, dependable, and able to work independently
- Diploma or certificate in IT; willingness to travel when required
