Job Responsibilities
Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence is seeking a Controlling and FP&A Analyst to join the Business Area Finance team. This role supports financial planning, forecasting, performance analysis, and reporting across global divisions and regional finance teams. The position combines analysis of actual performance with forward-looking planning to support strategic alignment and profitability across the business.
This is an analytical, business-facing role requiring strong financial modeling skills, structured problem solving, and the ability to collaborate across international teams.
Key Responsibilities

Support the development and maintenance of financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.

Perform monthly and quarterly variance analysis across revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, CapEx, and manufacturing overhead.

Consolidate financial inputs from global divisions and regional teams to support executive reporting and management reviews.

Conduct scenario modeling and risk assessments, including foreign exchange, tariff impacts, pricing, and cost trends.

Support product profitability analysis, cost benchmarking, and financial evaluation of investment initiatives.

Collaborate with Finance Systems and Operations teams to improve data consistency, reporting automation, and dashboard standardization.

Track key performance indicators including revenue growth, EBIT margins, cost drivers, and working capital trends.

Provide analytical support during monthly close, budget cycles, and forecasting processes.

Translate complex financial data into clear insights to support decision-making by senior leadership.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.

3+ years of experience in FP&A, controlling, or finance roles, preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments.

Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms.

Exposure to financial consolidation systems such as OneStream is preferred.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and pivot tables.

Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or ThinkCell is advantageous.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large, multi-currency datasets.

Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
