Short description: Are you passionate about leading innovation in Smart Manufacturing? Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence is seeking a Senior Product Manager for NDE Software (f/m/d) to shape and drive the growth of our Non-destructive Evaluation (NDE) Software Suites, including the industry-leading Volume Graphics suite.

These solutions serve a global customer base across automotive, aerospace, and electronics industries—enabling advanced product development and manufacturing through technologies like industrial computed tomography (CT).

 

As Senior Portfolio Manager for NDE Software (f/m/d), you’ll manage a team of product leaders and be responsible for delivering cloud-ready, data-driven NDE software at scale. You’ll shape strategy, guide cross-functional collaboration, and ensure the seamless evolution of our NDE suites—from vision to customer delivery, and ultimately, successful adoption.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy and execution of our NDE software roadmap, including cloud and edge delivery, technology partnerships, and release planning (SAFe framework).
  • Manage a team of Product Managers and Product Owners across the full product lifecycle, driving customer discovery and market alignment.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Support teams to deliver differentiated, customer-centric NDE software solutions.
  • Define and monitor success metrics such as new product revenue, user activation and retention, and total contract value.
  • Oversee the migration of NDE solutions to Hexagon’s Nexus cloud platform, ensuring adoption and business value.
  • Meet regularly with global customers to define use cases, prioritize key features, and maintain strong relationships.
  • Present product strategies and roadmap updates to internal stakeholders, enabling alignment and cross-team collaboration.
  • Coach and inspire your team to build a high-performing, innovative product culture.
  • Continuously improve product management practices within the organization.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering required; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, ideally within NDE technologies (e.g., 2D X-ray, 3D CT, digital radiography, ultrasonic testing) or industrial software.
  • Proven track record of launching successful B2B software products, including cloud-based (SaaS/PaaS) offerings.
  • Strong understanding of the NDE market, customer behaviors, and OEM models.
  • Experience managing and mentoring distributed product teams in an agile (SAFe) environment.
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to execution, data analysis, and continuous improvement.
  • Background in Analytics or AI technologies is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% (nationally and internationally)
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
