Summary

As a Sales Representative for Portable Metrology Devices, you will be responsible for driving the growth of Hexagon’s portable metrology business across Hungary. This is a commercially focused role requiring strong sales capability combined with practical experience in metrology. Your mission will be to build a solid customer base, develop new opportunities, and establish Hexagon MI as a trusted partner in precision measurement technologies within the Hungarian market.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle sales activities, including prospecting, cold calling, lead qualification, opportunity management, and closing.
• Conduct on-site demonstrations of portable metrology devices such as laser trackers, measuring arms, and handheld scanners (training provided by regional teams).
• Develop and expand a customer portfolio across Hungary, driving long-term relationships and repeat business.
• Travel frequently to customer sites; use the remaining time for proposals, planning, and customer outreach.

Qualifications

• A sales-driven professional with proven experience selling technical or industrial solutions.
• Required: prior experience in metrology (portable or stationary), such as working with measurement equipment, quality inspection, or industrial metrology workflows is strong advantage.
• Confident in presenting technical products to customers and able to perform demonstrations independently after onboarding.
• Strong hunter mentality — comfortable opening new accounts and building a market largely independently.
• Fluent in Hungarian and proficient in English; Slovak or Czech language skills are an advantage.
• Willing and able to travel extensively across Hungary in a remote field-based role.
• A proactive, self-directed team player who can represent Hexagon as the only portable specialist in the country while staying aligned with the wider regional team
