Short Description

As a Senior SAP CPQ Developer (f/m/d), you will work with an international team based in Barcelona to design, develop, and enhance SAP CPQ solutions supporting Waygate Technologies as part of its integration into Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence.

 

You will be responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining SAP CPQ solutions that support product configuration, pricing, and quoting processes, while contributing to the successful integration of Waygate systems into Hexagon's target architecture. Working closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional IT teams, you will help deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that support sales and business processes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and configure SAP CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) solutions to support the product configurations, pricing rules, and quoting processes;
  • Develop and maintain constraint-based configuration models, pricing procedures, and approval workflows;
  • Support integrations SAP CPQ with SalesForce CRM and ERP where required as well as downstream systems via APIs/middleware
  • Translate business requirements into technical design documents and functional specifications
  • Build and optimize product bundles, guided selling flows, discount/rebate logic, and quote document templates
  • Perform data modeling for product catalogs, price books, and attribute-based configuration
  • Lead or support unit testing, integration testing, and UAT cycles; troubleshoot defects and performance issues
  • Manage CPQ release cycles, version control, and deployment across dev/test/production environments
  • Collaborate with sales operations, pricing, finance, and IT stakeholders to align CPQ capabilities with business goals
  • Document configuration standards, technical architecture, and support runbooks

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
  • 6–8 years of hands-on experience with SAP CPQ (or Callidus/CallidusCloud CPQ, given SAP's acquisition history)
  • Strong experience with product configuration rules, pricing engines, and approval workflow design
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, XML, and CPQ scripting/rules engines;
  • Experience integrating CPQ with SalesForce CRM platforms;
  • Solid understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and middleware integration patterns
  • Experience with quote document generation tools (e.g., document engines, template design)
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodology
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in complex, multi-entity pricing environments
  • Experience in M&A or multi-system landscapes is a plus
  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills; able to work with both technical and business teams
  • SAP CPQ certification preferred
